Barwon South West Homelessness Network (BSWHN)

The Barwon South West Homelessness Network (BSWHN) is a network of homelessness assistance services operating in Victoria’s Barwon & South West region.

Barwon Youth

Barwon Youth has grown over the past 30 years to become the largest youth specific agency in the Barwon Region. Barwon Youth have a proud history of delivering innovative programs for disadvantaged young people and communities, which have been underpinned by principles of social justice and premised on an understanding and respect for young people’s unique requirements and support needs in the context of their family.


The primary clients of BATforce are youth and community sector workers, and the primary role is to act as a peak coordinating body. BATforce has the history and the capacity to represent both young people and youth services on a wide range of structures, networks and planning processes.


Bethany aims to build upon the strengths of individuals and communities to achieve both personal and social change, always working towards supporting and strengthening communities. They provide counselling, educational and advocacy services to allow local people and their families the ability to improve the quality of their lives and also to contribute to the community in which they live.

Centre For Excellence In Child And Family Welfare Inc.

The Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare (CFECFW) is the peak body for the child and family services sector. CFECFW provide diverse training programs, publish vital research, advocate for children and families, and facilitate programs within the child and family services sector.

Centre For Multicultural Youth (CMY)

The Centre for Multicultural Youth (CMY) is a community based organisation that provides services to and advocates for the needs of young people from migrant and refugee backgrounds.

City Of Greater Geelong (COGG)

The City of Greater Geelong (CoGG) is a valuable youth services provider where young people can get support, get involved in the community and connect with others.  CoGG’s Youth Development Unit are the developers of the Geelong Adolescent Sexuality Project (GASP) which promotes anti-discrimination behaviour around sexual diversity. GASP has run valuable training sessions for our team and are a great resource for our clients.


Diversitat Youth Training and Employment Services offer a range of specialised support programs which aim to empower and change for the better the lives of young people in Geelong and our region. Diversitat also delivers a range of innovative community services such as the Pulse Community Radio, Wholefoods Café and Shop, Refugee and Settlement Programs, Northern Community Hub, Financial Counselling, Aged Support and more across 8 sites in our community.

Gateway Support Services

Acknowledged as the specialist provider of services to children and adults with autism in Western Victoria, with a particular focus on people with complex needs including challenging behaviour.

The Geeyoung Project

The Geeyoung Project is made up of a team of local young people supported by COGG and coordinated by Mo O’Meara fromMOHOW. The Project aims to discover what people aged between 10-25 like about Geelong, whether they live, work, study, or simply enjoy spending time in Geelong. The collection of these thoughts will be used in developing a new Community Youth Strategy for Geelong.


Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation. It focuses on helping young people aged between 12-25 who are going through a tough time. With centres all around Australia, Headspace can help with general health, mental health and counseling, education, employment, alcohol and other drug issues.


Karingal is a community services training organisation based in Geelong and Wyndham regions. They specialise in adult and youth training and disability support.

Murrenda Aboriginal Community Care Ltd.

Engaging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Victoria and forming partnerships to work together for the total well-being of individuals and families and their communities and working for justice and reconciliation.

MacKillop Family Services

MacKillop Family Services exists to support, to foster hope and to promote justice for children, young people and their families, particularly those who experience distress, disadvantage and abuse.

Wurreker – South Western Broker Of Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Inc.

The Wurreker Strategy is a Victorian Government partnership with the Victorian Aboriginal Education Association Inc. (VAEAI) to improve outcomes for Koories participating in the TAFE sector.
